The discontinuation letter will also be sent to customers who have purchased 6 bottles in the past 18 months. It states, “We are contacting you to let you know that Zoetis has discontinued manufacturing 1mg, 5 mg and 10 mg Torbutrol® (butorphanol tartrate) tablets due to manufacturing issues. We have depleted all our remaining inventory on this product and therefore we will no longer be able to supply it.
