New Box Packing Document Soon

After months of planning with several key customers and Companion Animal sales partners, we are excited to announce the addition of a Handling Unit Content Document (or packing slip) in shipments to our customers. We will be piloting this improvement from our Dinuba Fulfillment over the next several weeks. This enhancement is a direct result of feedback from our customers expressing a need for a packing slip in Patterson shipments. The HU Content Document will not only act as a detailed list of what is included in each box, but it reinforces the meticulous care and handling of our customer’ orders in true Patterson fashion. NOTE ‐ This is in addition to and will not replace the Patterson invoice. Our first roll out will be with the Dinuba Companion Animal customers for greater customer feedback.

As the Dinuba location services much of the United States, many customers outside of the West Coast may receive a package with the Handling Unit Content Document included. The HU Content Document includes pertinent information regarding the order that is being received. Product information, quantity, unit of measure and whether or not the product has an expiration date are all easily viewable. Your customer may see handwritten check marks, lines or circles on the document as part of our internal quality control process. As stated earlier, this is not a replacement for the Patterson invoice. Patterson invoices will remain on white paper while the HU Content Document will be on various colored paper.

TIMING

We expect to activate this enhancement on Monday, July 15th. Once we have established internal processes and received additional customer feedback, we will then roll the enhancement out to the rest of our Fulfillment Centers.
