As some of you know, we recently transitioned our Private Label Surgical Instruments from Patterson Veterinary to Pivetal. In doing so, we also changed manufacturing partners which has inevitably disrupted our ability to satisfy the “Lifetime Warranty” of Webster or Patterson Veterinary brand hand instruments, as the previous manufacturer is no longer supporting the products they produced.
Historically, all broken or non-repairable (Webster) Patterson Vet surgical instruments have been replaced free of charge. Effective June 30, 2021, we will no longer be able to support requests to repair or replace any Webster or Patterson Veterinary Brand instruments remaining in circulation, free of charge. Until this date, the Private Label team will continue to replace non-repairable Webster/Patterson instruments, on a case-by-case basis. The sales and customer service teams should continue to send these requests to the Private Label Mailbox for processing.
Any repair service requests of Webster/Patterson surgical instruments can be processed through Pivetal’s Repair Services (noted in the Pivetal Instrument Catalog), with the understanding that the customer is responsible for any fees and shipping associated with the repair claim.
We appreciate your ongoing support of the Private Label brands. Please know that these decisions have come with thoughtful consideration in order to continue to provide a superior level of quality and excellence. We strongly believe that the new Pivetal Surgical Instruments will meet or exceed the standards set by its predecessor.
