ProHeart 12 fits in with the recommendation to provide year-round heartworm disease prevention, which can help to eliminate gaps in protection for a full year.  ProHeart 12 is yet another example of the Zoetis commitment to veterinarians, as it can only be administered by certified veterinarians or certified veterinary hospital staff. Zoetis will publicly announce the FDA approval to customers starting after the holiday, with plans to start shipping ProHeart 12 in early August.
