The past year and a half has been tough, but particularly on veterinary technicians as they have adjusted to a completely new way of providing patient care. This year, NAVTA’s chosen theme for Veterinary Technician Week is “Who We Are When The Stethoscopes Come Off”, with a focus on veterinary technicians caring for themselves and ensuring a healthy work-life balance. With this theme in mind, Patterson Veterinary University is proud to offer veterinary technicians a complimentary course that provides a journey through the history of veterinary technology, how veterinary technicians put on their capes and rose to the occasion during COVID, and what the future holds for the profession of veterinary technology. Our Vet Tech Champions of 2021 Nomination Guide. Vet Techs will be nominated by their colleagues (PMs, DVMs, fellow vet techs, and Patterson connections as well!). Winners will be selected on December 6, 2021, with a winner from each branch receiving PVU swag and a complimentary (otherwise fee-based) PVU course!
